Ooh, Alfy, you cheeky bastard!
Hey, did you hear?
“Middle of the Centipede” just replaced “Up Shit Creek” as the go-to expression for being in horrible circumstances.
Ooh, Alfy, you cheeky bastard!

I haven’t blogged anything old timey in a long time and I am about to have some serious Victorian withdrawls. So here it is: Cancan boots designed by Maniatis Bottier in the 1920’s. Right now these live at the Met, but I wish they lived in my closet. Of course, I would never ever ever have the balls to wear them. And really, where could I pull these off?! Even in my boldest moments, singing karaoke covers of Dolly Partonat the Mint, I couldn’t dare. However, I could find hours and hours of enjoyment just wearing them around the apartment…watching world cup, eating pasta, doing dishes. That would certainly breathe new life into the most mundane activities!

I SHOULD be working.

Illustrating one of my favorite idioms.
Yes, I have favorite idioms! Live with it.
For Rachel,
This is my favorite birthday song, soon to be eclipsed by “Birthday Sex”. Good luck with 25. It’s pretty much the easiest year ever. Until 26.
Boo

Would love love love to write more about my favorite song of this week (like how much it reminds me of the Capstan Shafts (what Menomena reminds you of the Capstan Shafts - bitch, you must be crazy!!)) BUT I still have to log in a couple more hours at my souls-crushing, mind-numbing, bank account-depleting day-job.
Happy Friday!
